All the best Motorola phones are good value for money. Alongside Nokia phonesand certain LG phones, Motorola is a champion of the budget smartphone market. If you’re looking for a good quality handset that won’t break the bank, this is the manufacturer to look at.
That’s not to say that Motorola can’t do high-end either, though. The arrival of the Motorola Edge and the higher-performance Motorola Edge Plus have demonstrated that. Both combine top specs, sharp displays, and 5G connectivity with flagship polish, which is precisely why they both make this list.
Elsewhere, Motorola’s other best phones are cheaper yet tempting. There’s the Moto Z range which offers modular accessories, there’s the Moto G demonstrating what an excellent value smartphone should be like, and the Motorola One series tends to offer good software update regularity and standout camera features.
Edge models aside, these phones aren’t up there with the best phones in the world, but they are certainly some of the better budget and mid-range phones you can find in 2021.
If you’re expecting to see the foldable Motorola Razr – a reboot of the classic flip phone – it’s not here. It’s so poorly made and expensive that it doesn’t make the cut for our top ten list, but we won’t hold that against the rest of the Motorola arsenal.
Instead, the most recent addition is the Moto G9 Plus, which is a super-affordable 5G handset. Read on below to see where it ranks and whether there’s a Moto phone for you.
This list of the best Motorola phones is updated regularly, so you can be sure that it’s currently the definitive ranking of the excellent but often confusing world of Motorola smartphones.
